Bye Bye Binky

A couple weeks ago I took this picture of Adalyn.  I just wanted to capture every ounce of cuteness in it.  She was finally over being sick and life was beautiful for both of us.  You think I am exaggerating?  I kid you not we had SO much fun.  She was cuddly, sweet, smiley, and happy.  Our routine was perfect, she slept well, and we both felt good.

Why am I telling you this today?  Because we took her binky away and started her on cow's milk on Monday... Life may never be the same (ok I am exaggerating now) But she is not adjusting well to either change (why in the world did I do them on the SAME day).  Life is hard for our sweet little girl these days and we hope that she will figure things out soon.  I think the no binky adjustment is going much better than the cow's milk (she really doesn't like that stuff)

So I showed you this picture tonight for my own sake really.  It helps me keep a better perspective.  Have a great day/night!

  1. Charlie did not like cow's milk either. One day I made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and only offered him milk. The sandwich was super sticky and he really needed a drink, and he has been hooked on milk ever since. That is also how we got him to really drink out of a sippy cup instead of just playing with it.
