Well folks we just got back from our last weekend in Utah for this summer. It was fun, Melanie's wedding was beautiful, and Adalyn's party was so sweet and relaxing. I took lots of pictures and was really excited to tell/show you all about it and then I DELETED THEM on accident off my camera. Yes sadly you read that right I (definitely not mother of the year moment) deleted ALL of the photos that I took at my first child's first Birthday party. Man, I am so mad just writing this!
On the positive side my mom did take some pictures of the party and someday when she gets a new camera cord she is going to email them to me and THEN I can show the cute little Tangled themed party that we had for Adalyn. So for now you will have to wait...
But there is one thing that I can finally tell you, and that is that in December we will be having a bouncing baby BOY!!! We are SERIOUSLY thrilled about it and I have about 1 million emotions going on inside me right now that need to be addressed before he gets here. I won't bore you with all of them (I save those for McKay lol) But the over lying theme is that I have this need/desire for everything to be perfect in my life and organized before he comes. Right down to the kitchen sink (crazy I know). In reality I know everything won't be, but that hasn't stopped these desires. So we will start with one thing and see where we end up. Hopefully I will at least be more organized than I am now. :) I have never had a boy before or any brothers so I am excited to see what he looks like and if he will be anything like his older sister as a baby.
Well I guess that is all for today, I am in a chatty mood and could probably sit here and tell you everything going on inside my head, but my bathrooms are calling me to come clean them and I should probably listen today since I have ignored them for the last week. ReplyDeleteWe spent Dinah's first birthday down at my in-laws and I forgot my camera. My sister-in-law took pics but then lost her camera. I feel so bad for Dinah b/c she doesn't have first birthday pics. She was sick on her second birthday so we didn't get any cake pics, only opening presents pics. Don't feels bad. How fun to have one of each!! Harlee and Ash have such a great relationship-they're such good friends! I'm sure your kids will be too.
ReplyDeleteOh this is so sad Kajsa! What a frustrating and depressing moment when it hit you that you had lost those pictures! I am so sorry. BUT what a relief that your mom has some from Adalyn's special day. They might not be the same shots you took, but at least all is not lost!
