Sunday Rest

I have really enjoyed Sunday's this semseter. We have not had the chance to go to our parents houses much because McKay has been on call for his job every Sunday. Ofcourse I love going home so that is not the good part, but I HAVE loved just hanging out with McKay Sunday evenings. Our typical Sunday consists of McKay waking up early to go to work for a few hours, then I sleep in for a while longer :) Then we head out for church at one, come home at four and make a yummy dinner together. After dinner is when the activities vary from week to week.
Last Sunday we played a couple friendly games of Monopoly. I killed him both times that we played, and I think it is a reflection of spending habits. I, on the one hand, LOVE spending money and so I built up my hotels quickly and then he went broke when he landed on the first one. McKay, on the other hand, is a saver through and through so he wouldn't build very much and by the time he got up enough courage to build he couldn't build very much because he had already given all of his money to me. :) Here are pictures to prove that I really did beat him...



Yesterday we hung out and watched the disney movie Ratatouille (yes I did have to look up on google to see how you spelled it, but look at it! It isn't even spelled like it sounds) While we watched it, it was pretty cold in our apartment so we had to bundle up in lots of blankets. :) Here is McKay in his blanket "skirt" So Cute!
