The last couple of weeks we have enjoyed seeing some of the sights around our new town. Over Memorial Day weekend we went on a walk around the river. We saw lots of geese and ducks and unfortunetly we forgot to bring bread to feed them (and a camera to take pictures), but it was sure fun watching them. The Snake river is VERY full these days as is every other river with this crazy spring weather that we are having. It was so bad in some areas that we had to end up walking up on the road instead of the path because the path was covered in a foot of water. Hopefully it doesn't get too much worse!
We enjoyed our walk so much that day that McKay requested to go again a week later on his birthday. This time we tried out a different part of the path and it was a beautiful night. Thanks McKay for going slow for me, sure can't wait till I can start running again! This time we did remember to bring the camera...
