Hey everyone, hope you are having a great day! Today I thought that I would give you a sneak peek of the baby's room. It isn't finished yet, and we will hopefully be doing some work on it in the next few days. Yet even with that said I don't know when it will ever be completely done because of the shear fact that things are expensive and as much as I would like to go out and splurge to do everything I want I am trying to have patience and remember that there is something called a budget. :)
So here is the preview and frankly the VERY best thing in the entire room. It was the inspiration for the rest of the room and I *LOVE* how it turned out.
This is the quilt that my mom made for our sweet little girl's crib. It is darling and my mom did an amazing job with it. It was the insiration for the whole room. And guess what NO pink! And since all little girl decorations are made out of pink or purple it has made decorating a little bit more of a challenge, but well worth it. SO cute! I just love it! And it is even better in person. Thank you mom for making it!
Also a quick thank you to all of the wonderful women who have given us gifts. Our baby has so many beautiful handmade blankets/quilts, burp cloths, bibs, and even a hand made blessing dress. We feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. I can't wait to use all of them! (only six more weeks!) YAY! Have a good day!
