I Have a Good Reason

Hey everyone, think that I forgot about my promise of being a better blogger? I promise that I didn't I just had a few things come up but I am still here. We had a crazy and eventful last few days but things are starting to settle down now and we will be back to normal soon. (I hope). What did we do that was SO eventful? We bought a NEW CAR! Car shopping, getting a loan, and signing the papers the whole nine yards. And all you people out there who own a car know how buying a car can be quite a process. This was my first time dealing with the whole car buying experience and can I just suggest to not buy a car when you are 32 weeks pregnant. It is not really a pleasant experience...

Up until 2 weeks ago we had no can I repeat NO intentions of buying a new car. We didn't need it (we only need one car since mckay rides a bus to work), but our air conditioner in our only car went out and it was going to cost a lot to fix it and then we realized that if we wanted to get a loan for a house in a few years we were going to need some more credit. So we thought this was a good time to get a loan and build some credit. So we began car shopping and thanks to McKay's brother and sister we were able to find a great car and get a loan.

So after a quick trip to from Idaho to Wyoming, and then on to Utah (not really quick but we had fun seeing family along the way) we are now the proud owners of a Honda Accord! We had fun driving it around for a few days and then it headed back to the dealership for a quick face lift. We needed to raise the suspensions back to normal height we are not really low riding kind of people especially in the snow).

So I have been hanging out in good old Draper with my family Mckay headed back to Idaho for work on Monday and I will hopefully be heading that way soon. Not fun to be apart :( But luckily I have been able to get a good start on the baby room decorations so we have stayed busy.
