Pace Family Easter Party

The day before Easter we "hosted" (at my parents house since Draper is a lot closer to everyone then Idaho Falls) a family party for McKay's mom and siblings.  We made it a lunch and even had an Easter Egg hunt.  The weather was amazing and it was so nice just letting the kids play and roam around outside while the dad's played volleyball and the moms/women got to chat and hold babies inside.  Most Pace family parties involve a wedding, baby blessing, graduation, holiday, etc. So it was really nice to have a get together that was just a relaxing day spent making memories with family.

We even got to meet baby Carter who was born on March 1st.  He is adorable and everyone enjoyed passing him around.

Lots of little boys have been born in the family in the past year or so and it is fun watching them all grow up.  Aunt Diana and Dax were really helpful in the baby duty department.

Uncle McKay with smiley Tydon.  It doesn't show so well in this picture but anytime you "talked" to Tydon he would give you the biggest toothless grin.  So darling!

The Easter Egg hunt was fun and relaxing, and the kids spent the rest of the day sneaking candy from their baskets.

This was Adalyn's first Easter egg hunt and would have been Jensen's but the boy was sleeping.  Adalyn enjoyed it and pretty much got the hang of it with a little help from mom.

I kind of had to laugh during the Egg hunt though because it was just so typical...  The dad's were all standing around chatting barely paying attention to the kids looking for the eggs, while the mom's ran around with their kids snapping pictures. lol  Glad someone is there to capture the memories.  But then again by the look on the kids faces in the group shot the kids might have wished I we captured less of the memories.

Besides being the day before Easter, Saturday was also cousin Jaxon's 2nd birthday.  We were excited to celebrate with him and eat his yummy cake.  Happy Birthday Jaxon!

And just some proof that Jensen and I were at the party too

Fun fun times with family!
