Today (well really last night) Jensen slept through the night. That is not a common thing. And until he starts eating solids more regularly not something I am encouraging, but a full nights rest is definitely enjoyable every now and then.
Today I am impatiently waiting for my new stroller to come. I just ordered this online... Freedom with 3 children under 2 is coming my way :) (no I don't have 3 kids personally, we babysit a 1 year old). It will look like this with the third seat attached to the front. My stroller is not red but you get the idea. Nobody laugh when you see me around town with this
Today I am prepping for Adalyn's 2nd birthday which is tomorrow. So excited for an excuse to eat cake and ice cream together. Her present from us was a water table that we let her open early. Like as in a month ago. She loves it and I do too. I am happy that she has something to do on the back patio while we wait for our grass to grow.
Today Jensen learned how to go from crawling, to sitting, and then back to crawling. Right now he is doing circles in his crib because he is so excited. Such a big boy, but come on buddy ya gotta nap!
Today I worked out... on my own. Recently if I don't have a friend (thanks Natalie!) or Zumba dragging me out the door I haven't been doing anything and that is NOT a habit that I want to get into. This mama NEEDS her exercise. Hopefully my new stroller will help keep me going. Seriously can't wait for it!
Today I am finishing up a few DIY projects. Wall art for Adalyn's room and that wall above our piano that I have been thinking about forever. I am really excited about how both things are turning out and I will show you pictures soon. I also have a few other house projects that I am working on but they aren't close to being done. But creative juices have been flowing recently and I am loving how my house is looking. Here is a sneak peak of Adalyn's wall art... I am sure you know where I am going with it-
Today I am so excited for McKay to come home from work. We have not spent nearly enough time with each other in the past few weeks and I am excited to spend the day tomorrow with him and kids while we celebrate Addie's birthday.
And just because ties are so cute on little people...

ReplyDeleteAlso, today as I was washing my cloth diapers I realized that I forgot to include on my blog post that I do an extra rinse at the end of the second cycle. So it's wash cold-with detergent, wash hot - with detergent, freshwater rinse. That's to make sure all of the detergent has been removed. One of my friends rinses hers twice - but I can't stand the thought of such a long cycle. Anyway... just thought I would let you know.
