Here is a quick update on my pregnancy.
We found out that we were expecting on April 19th, it was a happy day
I am 14 weeks along now (yay! for the 2nd trimester)
They were not able to hear the heart at our 10 week appointment, but WERE able to at our 12 week one. Thank heavens!
Everything sounds good
This pregnancy feels exactly the same as my first one which I can't complain about because even though I am sick for the first trimester it is mostly only nausea and EXTREME fatigue. NO throwing up :)
I am mostly sick in the afternoons and early evenings. Thankfully that is nap time most days so I usually just sleep when Adalyn is sleeping. Yep I was/am super lazy during those hours
Yes I am glad that I am not huge during the summer. Hopefully I won't swell as much this time.
I am excited to start feeling better in the 2nd trimester, it is happening slowly but surely
My favorite foods are french fries (didn't eat these much this time), sandwiches, cheese, tortilla chips, yogurt, applesauce, and anything pretty plain without a lot of spices.
I have a little bump now (don't know if I "should" have one, but I do so I am trying to embrace it)
I feel very emotionally/spiritually attached to this baby in a much more intense way than I EVER did with Adalyn. They sure are one special spirit and I can not wait to meet them in 6 months. :)
Well that is all for today, no picture I am in my sweaty workout clothes so that wouldn't be pretty anyways. Have a great night!
P.S. Congrats to my MANY friends and family members that have had babies in the last month or two. It is so fun to start seeing all your friends have babies. They are all cuties and make me super excited to have another newborn in the house. Congrats again!
I've just been catching up on your blog site....congrats again on your upcoming arrival. So happy for you! I was actually thinking about you the other day and wondering when your due date was. Its nice to be pregnant in the winter, instead of the middle of the summer...that's for sure. Hope you're getting enough rest. I'm like you when I'm pregnant. Tired and nauseated. But I never throw up. I always considred myself lucky to have easy pregnancies.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe that Adalyn is walking!! What a cutie pie
Congratulations! How exciting!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the pregnancy! I enjoyed looking at all of your 4th of July pictures-- what a wonderful family you have!
