General Conference Weekend

As most of you know General Conference was last weekend in Salt Lake City. I had never been to a General Conference at the Conference center before so we decided to go this year. We got tickets from our bishop a few weeks ago and asked McKay's mom if she wanted to go with us. Luckily she was able to come, so the three of us went to the Saturday afternoon session. It was amazing! I can't believe that they fill the entire place up, it was packed! My favorite talk was even during that session (the one about motherhood not being a hobby by Neil L. Anderson) and it was nice to actually be there for it.
Adalyn had a fun weekend being babysat by Grandma. My mom and sisters watched her for us while we went to a session at the Salt Lake temple on Friday and she also watched her for us on Saturday when we went to General Conference. She did great both times and it was nice for me to know that she was in good hands :) Thanks mom!

We decided to pull out her I love my auntie shirt and take a few pictures (it won't be long and she will out grow it) These pictures were right after she ate, followed by a huge blowout in her diaper which resulted in a calming bath. She was super relaxed after that. :) Here she is just chilling with her aunties
On Sunday we went to McKay's moms house to watch the rest of conference with her. She made us scones inbetween sessions and helped hold Adalyn so that we could actually focus on Conference.

Adalyn got spoiled all weekend and loved being held all day. I am so glad that we have such great family members and I am so grateful to all the church leaders who gave such amazing talks this weekend. Don't you all love the spiritual high that you get after listening to them? I sure do, hope you all have an amazing week!
