I can't believe Adalyn is only two months old! It feels like she has been in our family for much longer than that. Last week I took Adalyn to her 2 month appointment. She did really good (up until the shots). She was showing off for the doctor and nurses. They just kept laughing at all of her little faces and movements that she was doing. The doctor asked if she was always this happy and truely she is. She has always been a very happy baby. She weighed 12.7 lbs and is 23 inches long. That puts her in the 80-90 ish percentile. What a chunk! :) She was not feeling well for a few days this past week due to her shots, it was sad to not have her acting like her normal self, but I think things are getting back to normal.
Some things about her at two months:
-Still taking bottles really well (nice if mommy can't feed her)
-Very wiggling, always wanting to kick her legs and move her arms
-She smiles really big when you talk in a high pitched voice or kiss her cheeks
-Gives me a big smile whenever I go to get her out of her bed
-Loves sitting in the swing and being bounced in her bouncer
-Holds her blanket when she rides in the carseat
-hates being hot
-sucks on her hands (luckily not her thumb)
-Hates dinner time because it is the one time that mom and dad aren't paying attention to her. :)
We sure love our little girl! McKay told me the other day that when we have our next child he wants it to be a girl too because they are just so fun and cute. And I said the only thing better than dressing up one girl is dressing up two girls so I completely agree
This past weekend McKay was pretty busy so he didn't get a lot of time to see Adalyn, but when I went into her room on Sunday evening this is what I found. Daddy playing with Adalyn under their "tent"Adalyn was sure having fun playing peekaboo with daddy :)We sure love her! Thanks for reading!
