I started this blog right after we got married and I always thought that it was a perfect time to start documenting and journaling about our lives. No need for catch up...as long as I updated it often, which I am happy to say that I have. (journaling on the other hand, not so much). So at the beginning of 2011 I started looking for the right program to use to create this blog book. I started out using the book smart website but their format was different than the blog layout so it was messing up each post and the descriptions of my pictures were no longer by the pictures. Can you say frustrating?! I spent many days trying to fix it, but it just wasn't working the way that I wanted it to. SO I gave up for a few months (or a lot) Then fast forward to about three weeks ago when I happened upon the blog2print website. I downloaded it to my computer and gave it a try, and you know what...it let me keep my posts in the EXACT same order that they were in on my blog. Yipee!! SO a half hour later my book layout was done and it was off to be printed and three weeks later it arrived at my house. It has a hard cover and color pictures. It is the perfect size even though I did have quite a few posts from that year. It isn't super fancy with tons of designs but it has the journaling and pictures and that was all that I was looking for so I am very pleased. Here are a few pictures of it, and I can now say that I am excited to print this years book in a few months!
