Time for another post

Ok lets all pretend that I am not really writing a post about LAST weekend when we are already well into THIS weekend. Anyways, LAST weekend we started off by heading to Provo to help out McKay's mom with her garage roof. Jesse and Natalie came with us so ofcourse it was really fun, even if it was VERY hot. While the men (that is what us wives have to call our husbands now since they were brave and worked on a extremely hot roof for several hours) :) worked on the roof the ladies/wives helped out in the front yard by mowing and edging her lawn. And even though we were not professionals I think it turned out pretty good and we had fun while we did it. Then later that night after the boys finished the roof, we headed up north to McKay's brother's birthday party. We ate yummy food and played a couple games of volleyball with his new volleyball set. It was the first time that we had done a full volleyball game with his family and I have to say that it was a ton of fun just laughing and joking around together. Thanks Michelle for planning the party, it was really fun! Now for a few pictures before I finish talking about our weekend adventures...

On Sunday after church we went over to Jesse and Natalie's brand new and amazingly decorated apartment for a old roomate reunion. For this dinner I made homemade rolls for my very first time and they turned out great! Thanks Michelle for the recipe I love it! And I think that you got it from Candace, so thank you Candace too! After the dinner we all played Trans America, and ate yummy eclare cake. The reunion turned out great and I definitely think we should do it again when David and Shantel can come too, we missed you guys!
Here is Kyle(McKay's old roomate) who just married Chelsea (my old roomate) Cool huh? Love them!
Jesse and Natalie, the hosts
Us :) Oh I just LOVE McKay
Thanks for reading, come back soon because I have lots more to post!

  1. I heard the four of you were headed to my mom's to help her out. I know you dont need a Thank you from me.....but Thanks anyways. Thanks for helping her out. I know it means a lot to her. I wish my mom was the same mother I knew when I was a kid. Its sad that things are different now. But we all still love her, and have just learned to 'smile' at all the qwerky things about her! And try to ignore the crazy things. She has a good heart, and always means well. She is so lucky to have you & Natalie as daughter-in-laws.

I'm bummed I missed Larons party. I wanted to be there So bad. I was in Provo that morning! But, sadly, we left for Colorado Sat. morning. The lady I drove with had to get back.
