Bear Lake in a Day

This past wednesday we took a slight break from our jobs and went to Bear Lake with my mom's family. It was SO fun and very relaxing after stressing so much about my classroom and everything. That morning my mom came up and picked us up and we got to the lake about 9:00 am. Nobody else was there yet and if you were lucky to be one of the first ones on the waverunners then you got to see tons of huge fish swimming near the top of the water. (after a few minutes they all dove down to take cover from the scary humans!) My mom's family LOVES waverunners, especially trying to see who can dunk who. :) This was McKay's first time EVER going on a waverunner, and he was a really good sport at letting me dunk him on his very first ride. Along with the waverunners we played on the water tramp, ate food, built sand castles, and buried cousins in the sand. McKay ofcourse was the little cousins favorite person to go on waverunner rides with and dig REALLY big holes in the sand with. Thanks McKay for being so fun! Oh and to prove how much they love him, here is a funny story. So my little cousin and I were sitting on the water tramp and we were both waiting for McKay to come back on the waverunner. And while this little cousin was waving and saying Akay!(that is how he says McKay) Akay! he turns to me and asks "What is your name?" My response was very nicely It is Kajsa, I am your cousin, but inside I was laughing hysterically! I mean I am the one that has known him since birth and who is his actual cousin and here he doesn't even know my name, but McKay who has only been around for a little while is one of his best buddies. Man, I really need to start building more sandcastles to start earning some brownie points! Lol I am really just kidding I actually secretly or maybe not so secretly love watching McKay with all the little kids and I love that they love playing with him.
So anyways, moving on, after hanging out at the Lake all day we went and got the famous raspberry shakes and then headed back to Logan. It was a great day and thanks Fry family for planning it!

  1. Wow, I'm so jealous. I've only been on a waverunner Once! What a fun, Fun day at the lake.

Good luck with the marathon training. Hope it goes well. I'm amazed at how ambitious & dedicated you are. 26 miles is so long!

Oh, good luck with your CDA. Its nice to know what you want to do. I went to Ricks College for 2.5 years & changed my major so many times that when I graduated, it was just a degree in Arts & Sciences. Looking back, I Really wish I would have stuck with something. So, I think its great you're going to have a degree in something that you love doing.
