He weighed 11 lbs 7 oz which is around the 34 percentile and was 24 inches tall which is in the 86-90 percentile. When the doctor told us that he was just tall and skinny he looked over at McKay and said "I wonder where he gets it from?" haha! He is looking more and more like McKay everyday.
He sleeps fairly well and has even done a couple 10 hour stretches, but most times he sleeps 7 hours at a time and then usually struggles going back to bed after he does wake up. He likes to fall asleep with a binky and we usually swaddle him still even though he occasionally enjoys sleeping "untied" with his arms above his head.
His schedule is loosely eat, play, sleep on a 3-4 hour rotation. I adapted this schedule from the book Baby Wise (even though I only read the first 4ish chapters) and just tweaked it to fit our needs. I have used this same schedule with both Adalyn and Jensen and it has worked very well for both. I am sure if I was more strict with it he would sleep even longer at night then he already does.
As far as milestones he hasn't really reached too many of those yet. Lifting his head is apparently a VERY hard task because when he does tummy time he lits him bum instead of his head. Silly boy. He spends most of his days looking around and hoping for some extra attention from mommy, daddy, or Adalyn and you are usually rewarded with a huge smile when you give it to him. He still likes his swing, but isn't a fan of the vibrating bouncer that Adalyn loved so much.
We love our man! He has had an on going cold/little cough for about half this month which I am sure has been frustrating for him, but he is still such a happy little guy. Here are a few more pictures...
Adalyn wanted to share her snack cup with Jensen...
At his 2 month doctors appointment (we did double duty and had Adalyn have her 18 month appointment at the same time)
Well that is all, have a good night!
