Thank you Adalyn for being my daughter.

Thank you for turning our world upside down and changing it for the better.

Thank you for the new challenges as your daddy and I figure out how to focus on each other and be parents.

Thank you for waking me up last night so that I could spend a little more time with you.

Thank you for your random smiles.

Thank you for crying when I walk away from you.

Thank you for letting me dress you up all day.

Thank you for the new perspective that you have given me in life.

Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy.

And I am sorry that I woke you up from your nap today just so that I could snuggle with you.

Today I ran across a few blogs of families who have had children pass away. Ofcourse tears were involved as a read their testimonies of forever families and their experiences of how they grieve and move forward with their lives. It made me so grateful for a heathly baby and husband. Things can change in an instant and I hope I can cherish each moment.
