Hill Air Force Base Museum

Last weekend after hanging out with the cousins we headed over to Hill Air Force Base to check out their planes that the museum. McKay had never been there (that he could remember) and I thought that it would be a fun *free* family outing. When we got there it was PACKED, which it is normally almost empty, we asked the nice soldiers directing traffic what was going on and they said that they were having a food drive/open house at the museum. They do it on the third saturday in September every year. SWEET! It was like a carnival, food, prizes, and a car show. The best part was that since it was such a big day most of the planes were open to tour (normally there are two or three open). Also there were lots of volunteers that could answer all of your questions (mostly McKay did the asking because he actually knew what questions to ask). It was great weather and made for a relaxing family outing. I am so glad that we were able to go on such a perfect day, here are a few pictures from our adventure...
Adalyn did so great on our whole trip until the last twenty minutes of our drive home and then she lost it. ha ha poor girl screamed! when she gets upset she goes all red faced, tenses up her body and sweats A LOT. When we finally got her out of her carseat and calmed down she was freezing and exhausted so McKay put her in our bed and covered her with blankets. She was in heaven. Here she is all cuddled up...
Well that is it for now, have a great weekend!
