So WAY back when I was 13 (ok so it wasn't THAT long ago) I decided to get into jewelry making. I mostly made bracelets with a few necklaces here and there. So for a few years I would ask for beads for birthdays and Christmases, and I actually collected quite a few. I loved making jewelry for me and other people, and I especially loved making baby bracelets. They are just so cute! But sadly like most of my hobbies I didn't keep up on it and the styles have changed so much since then that I wouldn't even really know where to begin to start making jewelry for myself. But lucky for me baby bracelets still look about the same as they used to and are still just as cute!
When I first found out that we were having a girl I was going to just buy her a few bracelets but the $20 price per bracelet stopped me real quick! Why spend money when I could just make them for free. Yeah mine aren't as high quality but they only wear them for a few months...
So a couple weekends ago I grabbed all my jewelry making stuff from the deep dark storage room at my parents houseand brought it up to Idaho. I knew McKay was going out of town this weekend for work so I decided to have a jewelry making night. The final cost for all of them FREE!!! McKay will love to hear that when he gets back :) And here are the first four that I have finished... Sure can't wait for her to wear them :)They are so small! But I still don't think she will be able to wear them till she is a few months old. Well that is all have a great rest of the weekend!
Oh, those baby bracelets are DARLING. Kenzie had one when she was a baby and I loved it. Its going to look super cute on your little baby girl!
