Then on Friday afternoon we headed up to Idaho to check out the town and the townhouse that we are going to rent. (is that sad that we signed all the papers and put a deposit down on it without ever seeing it in person?) But no worries we still really liked it after we saw it. I love the part of town that it is in and it is close to a bus stop for McKay. That night we just went shopping and we found tons of cool stuff for our new bedroom decor. Suprisingly McKay actually picked out most of the stuff and I LOVED them! (I know I shouldn't sound so shocked but house decor is not usually his specialty :) That night we stayed in a hotel right near the temple.
...Which worked out perfectly because the next morning McKay's cousin Melanie was getting married at the Idaho Falls Temple. They are SO cute together and I am very excited for them! Congrats Melanie and Steven! The wedding was beautiful! and I especially LOVED her dress. A special thanks to Jesse for bringing me my recommend that I had forgotten at home. (oops!) Like always it was so fun to see family and catch up on everybody's lives. After the temple and taking pictures we had a beautiful lunch at their church. Here are a few pictures from the temple...
Some of their cute family with grandparents. Their family will only live a few blocks away from us when we move and McKay will be working with his uncle so I have a feeling that we will get to know them REALLY well. :)
And of course we had to take some of us in front of our future temple...who knows, maybe our kids will get married in this temple?!?
After the wedding celebration we just headed back to Utah for church on Sunday.
But... Little did you know that our driving adventures were only HALF over at this point of the weekend. Because Sunday afternoon we packed up and headed south to Provo to visit McKay's mom. But no worries it was all worth the drive and we had a great Easter sunday eating yummy food, talking, reading favorite scriptures, and McKay especially loved joking around with his brother Preston. That night it was a late drive home but McKay still was a good sport about getting up for his last week of school in the morning. But, I might have slept in a little bit. Well that is all for now, I hope you all had a great Easter!
