Well with Thanksgiving being tomorrow I am just finishing up the last final prep work tonight.
No I am not cooking the entire thanksgiving dinner (thanks to my wonderful mother in law).
Just the rolls. (all 150 of them)
But since this is my first time EVER having to actually help make the Thanksgiving dinner I thought that I had better document it. :) Pathetic, I know, but when you have a wonderful mother like me everything just gets taken care of,
And Thanksgiving CAN actually be a relaxing holiday if you don't have to cook.
I mean GET to cook.
I hope this doesn't sound like I am complaining! Because I truely am not.
It is cool being able to help out with the food. It is kind of like I have now joined a club of sorts. I don't know exactly what you would call it... but it is definitely cool ;) Now everyone else has to deal with my cooking and I get to choose to make whatever my heart desires (as long as it is a Thanksgiving food so that definitely narrows things down a bit)
Pretty cool huh? I know all of you men are getting pretty jealous now, maybe you are even thinking that you WANT to cook the food from now on...ok maybe not, I think we had better stick with the women if we want to have anything that looks like a turkey. :)
Well that is all for tonight, here are some pictures from my baking extravaganza, and I just have one question left... does this mean I get to graduate from the kiddy table yet?

I'm not sure we ever graduate from the kid table. Now that you're apart of the Pace family it's kinda hard to sit at a real "grown-up" table. Though, considering Denis, Loyal, Kevin, Nolan, and Eric are NOT going to be all together this Thanksgiving it MIGHT be possible this year. Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteactually this is Laura! I forgot I was logged into my husbands account. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a ton of rolls. I didn't realize that many people were going to be in Evanston. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Bet your rolls were delicious!
