Halloween 2010

So just like EVERYONE else (and if you didn't then you really should) I am now going to give our version of what we did for the Halloween weekend. We decided to spend Halloween with my family at my parents house. Luckily all of the festivities were at their house so we didn't have to go far once we got there. We left friday and stayed till Sunday night (Loved it!) We haven't been in well over a month so it was SO wonderful to have a relaxing weekend. Saturday we had a small party with my cousins and aunt and uncle. We did the traditional soup and bread bowls that we have been doing for practically forever. So all day on Saturday I got to hang out with my mom, chat, and make soup and rolls. Needless to say we got in some good girl chats. And ofcourse we loved seeing the cute and some not so cute (really some parents need to set a limit for their kids on when they have to stop trick or treating) trick or treaters.

Also earlier in the week I had a Halloween carnival with work and I had dressed up as a rockstar. I wanted to show my family the costume but I didn't feel like actually putting the costume on, but Corinne did so here she is in MY halloween costume...
Then on Sunday we went to church with my family and Corinne sang in sacrement meeting with some friends, they did great! then that night we had a birthday party for my grandma Fry. We had dinner, opened presents, and ...jumped off the deck?? (crazy things McKay comes up with) Happy Birthday Grandma!

Oh and to make this weekend even more fun we were having car problems and our car was in the shop so we had to get a rental car. not fun, but So worth it! (oh and I think that he is going to be a model don't you? haha) here is our darling rental car slug bug!

Well that is the long version of our weekend, thanks for reading! come back soon to hear about our exciting news! good night!

  2. Sounds like a fun weekend (minus the car problems!), but you'd better post this "exciting news" soon, or you're going to have us all jumping to conclusions... :) Or maybe that's what you were hoping for!!!
