Well fellow bloggers, tomorrow is the day (the big marathon for those of you that forgot) Believe me I almost forgot too a few times this past week because my training has really scaled back so much (I only ran 9 miles this week!) But with tomorrow's run it will be a grand total of 35.2 miles this week and before I get super nervous and scared I just need to remind myself that I have run farther in one week than that. (a couple of weeks ago I ran 40 miles) I can do this! (I think I have repeated that saying a million time today) I am so excited to FINALLY complete my goal of two years! I have worked hard and I feel ready for it. Thanks to everyone's support, especially my families and my amazing husband I couldn't have done it without you guys.
I am having McKay take TONS of pictures so you will all get a full report in a couple of days, but on the other hand the finish line of a marathon is just an amazing place to be so I would highly reccomend to anyone who wants to should come and watch it live. Because there aren't many things out there that test you to the end of your strength and beyond. Well thanks for reading and wish me luck!
Go, Kajsa, Go! You are right, the finish line of a marathon is an amazing place to be. Even if you haven't run the marathon, being there makes you feel like you can do anything! But for you, it will be even better this time around, because you will have run it! Have a great time (well, as great of a time as you can have running 26.2 miles!) and know we're thinking about you!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Kajsa! I will be cheering you on from Evanston ;)
ReplyDeleteYay! Break a leg! Not literally of course, I doubt you could run a marathon with a broken leg....good luck! Love ya!

ReplyDeleteWell, by now you've run your Marathon... so how'd it go? I am super impressed with you for making this a goal and sticking with it. I sure know that it's nothing that I could do! Hope it went well!
