Birthday Cake anyone?

So this past labor day weekend we spent our wonderful time off from work and school in Park City, or atleast near it... On Friday McKay went to his younger brother's football game and then met me after work at his oldest brother's house. We spent the night there and then got up REALLY early in the morning for a nice 12 mile run on a beautiful trail that runs right past their house. The rest of the morning and afternoon we spent at his grandparents house celebrating his grandpa's 90th birthday. We played volleyball, Annie I over with the other cousins and ate lots of great food. We also had the priviledge of watching them light 90 candles on a cake and singing happy birthday. Grandpa didn't actually blow out the candles, that was saved for the great grand kids, and they loved it! haha Happy Birthday Grandpa thanks for the amazing example that you are to McKay and I.

By the time they were done lighting all of the candles there was about an inch of wax on the top. :) so fun!

That night we met my family in Park City. We didn't have too many plans but we ended up shopping, then heading over to Swiss Days in Heber City for some more shopping. It was our first time going there and I loved the shops so I highly recomend it! After Swiss Days we went to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner and to watch the BYU game. They put us in a room with a big screen TV, very fun!

And that was the end of our Labor Day Weekend adventures. Monday was just a prep for school day and then a movie and dinner with our favorite couple, Jesse and Natalie. Now all I have left to say is... when can I have another break?
