Memorial Day Weekend Vacation

Wow we just had one of the best, most exciting, fun filled weekends! Thanks Uncle Ray Paul and Aunt Jennifer for letting us come up and for sharing your amazing cabin with us. It is beautiful!
Early Saturday morning McKay and I headed up to Lava Hot Springs to my cousins cabin and we stayed until Monday evening. And from the time that we got there until the second we left it was chuck full of great activities. I don't really even remember the order that everything happened but basically went... eat, play hard, watch movies, eat, play hard, sleep, repeat... Some of the activities that we did were.
Play games (I completely lost at Trans America)...
watch/play basketball (They have a really nice court up above the cabin and obviously I was the one watching and McKay was the one playing. And besides McKay almost falling down a large hill while playing he did really well. :)...
Go Four wheeling (We took a nice sunday stroll in the neighborhood. Is it sad to say that the four wheeling was probably the most relaxing thing that McKay did the whole time, ok maybe sitting in the hot pools is number one, but four wheeling was a close second.)...

Play Rock Band (oh my goodness! It was so cute to see all the kids rocking out together, they just kept singing "Oh oh Livin on a Prayer" over and over again. Thank heavens for no fail mode)....

Went Swimming at the pool and jumped off the platforms (If any of you know me I ofcourse did not jump off the platforms with many of my other cousins, but McKay and I did go down the water slides that go over the road. At first I was not planning on getting in the water at all, I could tell that McKay really wanted me to so I made a quick change and we had a blast together. And though I doubted the water was actually very warm)...

Along with the regular pool we went to the hot pools a couple of times but that is one activity that I did not get a picture of. Yet it was still VERY relaxing! (here are some before and after pictures)...
McKay and the boys went golfing twice. This was McKay's first time ever golfing and from what I heard he did pretty well for being a newbie. And luckly my uncle and dad love golfing so they had lots of pointers. He said that by the end he was starting to finally figure out which club you use at what times. I am still clueless, but thanks dad and Ray Paul for teaching him!
Also while we were there it happened to be my dad's birthday (I won't say which one) so we had cake and icecream. We also celebrated my cousin's youngest child's birthday Dallin, he was turning 1! He is SO cute!

The boys (or should I say men) also decided that they needed to jump into a pond near their house. And not only did they each do it once, but they felt the need to do it twice each...crazy guys...(P.S. the second one is of McKay)
The last random events of the trip included practice shooting, building new toys for the cabin (the guys built the play helicopter that Mykelti is in below and I think they were only missing one screw... :) TONS OF EATING, church on Sunday at the local ward, Painting nails (yes my dad did ASK for Corinne to paint his nails, oh and we threw in a few naps every so often...

This vacation was a perfect getaway, sorry about the picture overload but they are what tell the story. Thanks for reading and I hope everyone has a great Friday! Oh wait I have one last picture, here is McKay getting some good bonding time with the kids. Haha Love it! Yes that is McKay on the bottom. :)
