First Anniversary

Well hello my long lost friends, ever wonder if you would see me again? yea I was wondering too. But I am here...for now...I don't know how long it will last, but I can promise that someday I will be back. So we are going to play catch up. So come with me back to last year, December 15, 2010 to be exact. This was our one year anniversary and a very good day. Except that McKay had finals and I had work... but oh well. We didn't do much that day since we were going to Las Vegas in a couple of days to celebrate more. But we did do the tradition of eating our wedding cake that has sat in my parents freezer ALL year. I had one bite and McKay had a couple pieces (he doesn't really care what the food is as long as it has sugar). But surprisingly it wasn't too bad considering how old it was. Thanks Shari again for making it!

And that was the extent of our anniversary evening. Pretty exciting. :) not...

But have no fear we made up for it a couple days later when we headed out of freezing Logan and went to rainy Las Vegas (it rained the whole time we were there) it was actually quite hilarious seeing everyone in their heavy coats and snow boots while we were walking around in shorts and short sleeves because compared to Logan it was very warm. While we were in Las Vegas we ate out, a lot, which was good and bad. We also did some Christmas shopping, saw Harry Potter, went to M&M world and best of all we went to the The Lion King musical. Can I just say that it was AMAZING! We loved everything about the play and it was definitely worth the 100 bucks a ticket.

Also while on our trip we visited the Las Vegas temple on Sunday. It was pretty windy that day but we didn't mind because it just reminded us of our own wedding day...haha

Well that is about it for our anniversary. After four fun filled days in Las vegas we headed back to my parents house to start the Christmas festivities. Have a good night!
