Today is my oldest sister's 22nd birthday. Many of you fellow bloggers may not have even known that I have an older sister because I haven't really talked about her much. But that is not because I don't love her dearly it is because she is currently serving a LDS mission in Texas and she is loving it. So I thought since it is her birthday I would tell you all a little bit about her, from my perspective... Larissa is 15 months older than me and we have almost exact opposite personalities. She was always the tomboy and loved playing with legos. I was the girly girl who loved playing dolls. Funny story: One year I gave Larissa a doll for Christmas just because I wanted it and I knew she would never play with it. :)
She is the peacemaker of the family and so whenever Corinne and I would be fighting she would always step in and "try and keep the peace" yet saldly, It didn't always work...
Larissa is the funniest person I know. Seriously some of her under the table comments and/or her comebacks would make us roll on the floor for hours.
Larissa is an avid Finding Nemo fan, she can almost quote the whole movie. Such as "My name's Bruce" HELLO BRUCE! (or Bob if you are Uncle Craig)
Larissa is also very smart. She had a 4.0 all through high school to prove it
And last but not least she is a spiritual giant. I used to often think to myself, "man, I wish I read my scriptures or prayed as often as Larissa does." With all of that being said I know that she is a fantastic missionary and I am so excited for the people of Houston. Well that is all from me for tonight, and thanks for listening to me brag about my wonderful sister. She would probably kill me if she knew I was doing this, but I guess that is one good thing about her being gone. Have a good night everyone!
